Cursive Alphabet

Privacy Policy

cursivealphabet.pro is a static website. It has no accounts, no forms that send data to us, and no server that receives what you type. This page lists everything the site does that touches your browser or a third party.

What stays in your browser

  • Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark, the choice is saved in your browser’s localStorage under the key theme. It never leaves your device.
  • Worksheet text. Words you type into the worksheet generator are used only to draw the sheet on your screen. They are not sent anywhere and are not saved; reloading the page clears them. The generator saves only paper size, letter height, worksheet style, repeat count and guide preferences under cursive-worksheet-settings-v1, never student names, lists or sheet titles. Reset settings restores the defaults without deleting your current text.
  • Practice progress. The daily plan saves the last selected day and completed day IDs under cursive-daily-progress-v1. The tracing board saves completed letter IDs, not your pen strokes. These records stay in this browser; clearing site data removes them.

Analytics

When enabled, the site uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages are read and how the worksheet tools are used. These services set cookies or local identifiers and record page views, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling. Clarity may record anonymised session replays. Tool events describe settings, page counts, completion and input-length bands, not the text, names or pen strokes you enter. Printing is recorded as an intent, not proof that you saved a PDF. Generator and name previews are masked in Clarity. Clarity is not initialized on the generator, name, signature or tracing pages. Visits opened with prefilled text or a name in the URL do not initialize analytics while those parameters are present. Analytics respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. You can block both services with a browser extension or by disabling third-party scripts; the site works fully without them.

Advertising

The site may show advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies, web beacons, your IP address and similar identifiers to serve ads and to measure them; in particular, Google’s use of the advertising cookie (historically called the DoubleClick cookie) lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. How Google collects and uses this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads, and out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Other ad vendors and networks that may serve ads here use cookies and identifiers in the same way, subject to their own privacy policies; if any are added, they will be named on this page. No ads are placed inside the printable sheets.

If and when advertising is enabled on this site, visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be shown a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform before any advertising cookies are set, and visitors from US states with privacy laws (such as California) will be able to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising through the same message. Until then, no advertising cookies are set.

Hosting

Pages are served by Cloudflare, which processes request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.

Children

The site is a reference used by parents, teachers and students. It does not ask for or knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
